Government Polytechnic Manpur Bighapur was established in 2016 and is conveniently located along National Highway 31, approximately 42 km from Unnao Junction Railway Station and 40 km from the local bus station. The campus spans 7 acres.

The institution offers three diploma programs: Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering, Diploma in Leather Technology (Training), and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Production), each with an intake capacity of 60 students.

Approved by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and affiliated with the Board of Technical Education, UP (BTEUP), Government Polytechnic Manpur Bighapur is dedicated to providing quality education.

The college features a fully furnished, air-conditioned computer lab equipped with broadband internet and video projection facilities.

Additionally, the college hosts a National Service Scheme (NSS) unit with 50 students actively engaged in promoting social awareness among the youth. They organize one-day and ten-day camps in local villages, focusing on various causes such as general health awareness, AIDS prevention, the Pulse Polio Campaign, family planning, literacy initiatives, combating social evils, pollution control, and promoting agriculture development through plantation drives.
